Worldwide IT outage shuts down banks and business (and my PC)

A massive IT outage caused by issues with CrowdStrike software has caused havoc with computer systems around the world.  Was it a black swan event?  We will never know.   What we do know is that today we witnessed the worlds need for true decentralization.

Whilst many companies globally faced an IT catastrophe as they felt the full force of the CrowdStrike debacle, for others (in particular our air drop client) it was a standard business day. The Peer-to-Peer model enabled the early adoption team to continue business as usual; unaffected by the global outage.  Transactions were fulfilled with and without internet access.  This may just give you the biggest clue why this air drop is more than just an air drop!
